FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 1, 2018
Ride from Oregon to Washington DC will raise money for Nation of Patriots
Salem, Oregon: US Air Force SSGT Brad Brunhaver, 48, plans to undertake a cross-country motorcycle ride to raise funds and awareness for Nation of Patriots. He will begin his ride in Salem, Oregon and end in Washington, DC on Memorial Day. During his ride he hopes to, in his words, “Get to the good of this country, get to what makes our country great.”
As an Air Force veteran, Brad knows first hand the needs of veterans. He spent 6 years in the Air Force and 2 years in the Reserves, including time in the Desert Storm conflict. He’s humble about his own service, looking instead to honor veterans both living and deceased. Brad is passionate about giving back to our troops who give generously of themselves so others may enjoy the freedoms of our nation.
Today, Brad announced that the 501c(3) charity he’s chosen for his mission is “Nation of Patriots”. This charity is 100% volunteer driven, allowing 100% of the money donated to go directly to veterans. Nation of Patriots has provided assistance to veterans for wheelchair ramps, school bills, auto repairs, and utility and medical bills via representatives around the country. Brad is excited to support this organization for multiple reasons, but mostly, as he said, “All the money we raise is going directly to vets in need”.
You can help Brad do this great work. He’s looking for support from his local, Salem, Oregon area community, along with the communities he’ll travel through on his trek to DC. A few of things he’s seeking are:
- Gas cards
- Places to stay along his route
- Funds for Nation of Patriots
- And more… See BradsRide.Com for complete list of ways you can help.
